Ben joined Penn’s Office of Investments in 2014 and currently focuses on natural resources and private equity investment programs for the University’s endowment and pension plans.

Ben holds a BA from University of Pennsylvania.

What excites you most about the work you do at Penn?

Long-term, unconstrained investing requires us to ask big questions at the intersection of many disciplines including economics, politics, psychology, and technology. Debating those questions with our team of thoughtful, diverse, and open minded people is incredibly fun and rewarding.

What impact do you hope to make through your work at Penn?

I am a huge believer in equality of opportunity for all. Our work at the endowment is positioning the University to continue to provide higher education to all people around the country and world.

What activity is at the top of your bucket list?

One day I would love to hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail.
